Other AWD Sports Cars You Can Buy
AWD sports cars have seen a bit of a boom in recent years. As horsepower has gone up and manual transmissions have dropped out, AWD has become a popular way to put down serious speed without losing contact with the blacktop. After decades as a niche proposition, despite generations of excellent examples at reasonable prices, several 911-caliber AWDs exist for diehards to enjoy.
2024 Audi RS3

Specs
Power | 401 HP |
Torque | 369 LB-FT |
Top Speed | 155 MPH |
0-60 | 3.6 seconds |
Price | $62,300 |
The best of Audi’s sports car lineup has always compared well with Porsche: the Volkswagen AG siblings both deliver top-flight sports cars with the best of German engineering. There are plenty of reasons to love the RS3 (and a few not to) but it’s the closest Audi has come to a half-price Porsche, outdoing the stock Carrera and nudging the 4S on multiple metrics. Also, you didn’t hear it from us, but that 155mph top speed is electronically limited. Word in the automotive aether is a delimited RS3 will break 175 mph.

The fearsome GT-R actually outperforms the 911 Carrera 4S on most common metrics: more power, more torque, faster 0-60, higher top speed. Even stock, Toyota’s 2024 GT-R is a supercar killer and is a bit less expensive than comparable Porsche models to boot.
