2020 Honda Pilot
Pros: Honda’s largest SUV, the Pilot, boasts huge interior volume. Its useful third row boosts seating capacity to seven or eight depending on the trim. The Pilot also has loads of standard driver assists, and we enjoy the driving experience. If you can, get one with the nine-speed auto. When new, the 2020 Pilot won a comparison test over the Toyota Highlander.
Cons: We’ve found this generation of Honda’s infotainment can be slow and clunky. Also, although we enjoyed the Pilot more than its Toyota competitor, the Highlander has higher value, safety, and reliability scores.

2020 Infiniti QX60
Pros: The previous generation of Infiniti’s QX60 was a safe, spacious luxury SUV. The interior blended soft-touch materials with wood and handsome trim. Third-row access is especially easy, and the ride is plush. This model is also considerably cheaper than the other luxury SUVs on this list.
Cons: Infotainment feels dated here, and the 2020 model lacks modern tech like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Soft suspension means there’s ample body roll, too; no one will get excited about piloting the QX60 through corners. Oh, and don’t expect many standard driver assists.

2022 Infiniti QX60
Pros: How is the QX60 two of the best used three-row SUVs? Infiniti fully redesigned its family hauler for 2022, and we consider it a different vehicle. The new model looks (much) better, has more modern tech including smartphone mirroring, and retains its predecessor’s easy-access third row.
Cons: The 2022 model still suffers from excessive body roll, and although the new transmission is better, it can’t hide the V-6’s lack of low-end torque. We’ve also found the invasive traction control system too eager to cut power in deep sand or snow. Because this is a next-gen model, you’ll pay a lot more than you would for a 2020 QX60, too.
