2022–2023 Kia Telluride
Pros: A good ride and handling balance help the big Kia Telluride drive like something smaller. Cargo space and room in the first two rows is ample. The 2022 model upgraded to a standard 10.3-inch touchscreen from an 8.0-inch unit, and the 2023 gets an even bigger standard 12.3-inch infotainment interface. The available head-up display is also bigger in the newer model.
Cons: The engine in the lone powertrain option isn’t torquey enough and returns only average fuel economy. The third row is sized for small children.

2022 Lincoln Aviator
Pros: A high-end cabin with wood, leather, and metal contributes to this SUV’s luxury credentials. Interior tech is premium, as well, with features like symphonic door chimes and available massaging front seats. Plus, accessing the third row is easy in the Lincoln Aviator. Ride quality is supple, and the twin-turbo V-6 base engine provides good power and quickness.
Cons: The Grand Touring plug-in hybrid variant isn’t any quicker to 60 mph even though it makes significantly more horsepower and torque. Space is tight in the third row, which is common for the class.

Cons: A forgettable design and small third row are minor demerits. Only the 2023 model comes with a standard 11.6-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto at every trim level.

2022 Toyota Highlander
Pros: Easy driving and a quiet interior cement the Highlander’s status as one of the best used three-row SUVs on the market. There’s a fuel-sipping hybrid model available, and cargo room in any variant is ample. The 2021 and later models come with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ suite of driver assist and active safety features. Top Highlander trims approach luxury in feature content and cabin materials.
Cons: A bouncy ride, peaky power delivery, and not enough torque make for a dull time behind the wheel of the Toyota Highlander. Like others in the class, space in the third row is only enough for smaller humans.
