When you opt for a 3-Series, there are two powertrains for you to choose from. The 330i features a smooth yet raucous turbocharged four-banger while the M340i instead gets an absolutely fantastic turbocharged inline-six. Both powertrains make use of a mild hybrid system and can be had with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. It remains one of the most rewarding cars to drive in its segment.

When talking about luxury cars, people rarely talk in terms of value. However, when examining the G80 it is impossible not to. Many of the sedan’s desirable features are either tacked on as standard or are relatively affordable. While its starting MSRP might be pretty close to the likes of the Audi A6 and the BMW 5-Series, the Genesis feels like a more complete car.

While the base four-banger in the G80 is the same as the base engine in the G70, the larger mid-size sedan can upgrade to a 3.5-liter, 375-horsepower twin-turbocharged V-6. All-wheel drive is also standard on all models. It might not feel as athletic as some rivals, but it instead opts for high-end luxury, with effortless steering and an incredibly plush ride.
