Despite the best minivans being more space efficient for the role, full-size and three-row SUVs remain amongst the most popular ways to move large numbers of people. The perceived cool factor of a boxy SUV helps them sell, but the interiors of the largest SUVs are genuinely massive. While only some of these SUVs deliver on the off-road capability that their designs seem to promise, all offer impressive interior space and comfort for the long haul. Here’s a list of the biggest and largest SUVs currently on sale.
10. 2024 BMW X7 | 203.3 Inches
Compared to its rivals, the 2024 BMW X7 is actually rather small. Granted, unless you’re moving house or something, use cases for the BMW’s nice 90 cubic feet of cargo space are few and far between. It otherwise drives unexpectedly well, hiding some of the hefty 5,768-pound curb weight. Yet the overall package is clearly tuned for existing BMW customers, as those who can get past the SUV’s appearance will likely have problems with the X7’s price; you can get more luxury for less elsewhere.

9. 2024 Toyota Sequoia | 208.1 Inches
Another cost-challenged large SUV is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia, which inflicts a wallet wound ranging from the mid-60s to beyond $80,000. What you get for that substantial outlay is a solid-looking truck on the same TNGA-F platform as the new Tacoma, Tundra, Land Cruiser, and others. Third-row access is noticeably easier than its competitors, and a twin-turbo V-6 is standard across the trim range. On offer is 437 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque that hurls the Sequoia from 0 to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds, while still getting up to 24 mpg on the highway. Towing capacity maxes out at 9,520 pounds.
There are notable missteps, however, including handling and transmission tuning that feel trucklike, rather than like an $80,000 cruiser. A vehicle with a mountain of torque like this should also have a confidence-inspiring brake pedal, but mushy feel means you’ll likely feel less confident about the vehicle’s stopping power than your three rows of passengers.
2024 Toyota Sequoia Specs:
Base MSRP: | $63,125 |
